If even the boxes are of high quality, I knew I was in for a good surprise. I opened the accessory box first and discovered an English manual, a charger, a velvet pouch, headphones, and 2 batteries. Too bad it didn’t come with a leather case, but that is not a problem. Then I took out the phone. The first thing I noticed is how shiny it was. Reflected the sunlight from its beautiful body. I just held it there and dazed at it for a long time. Such a beautiful work of craftsmanship. The detail was amazing. Every single line and marking on the phone was perfect. It had a beautiful Ferrari horse on both sides, high quality leather on the back, and a big beautiful screen on the front. The back opened fairly easy with the key provided. I put the battery in and started the phone. First was the Vertu logo, and then the Ferrari logo to the sound of the Ferrari engine. The welcome screen featured a large clock that took up the whole screen. The screen resolution and detailing was amazing! I checked out the menu which featured everything from 2.0 MP camera to radio and ringtones, to a huge assortment of languages, to world time and currency converter. Basically all of the things a good phone should feature. I really liked the 2.0 megapixel camera, which took very quality photos (especially for a phone camera) and had flash. I took a few photos and was really impressed. The phone’s keys were floodlit, just like on the original’s, and I turned off the lights that night to see how beautiful the lit keys looked in the dark. Afterwards I continued examin the phone. It was quite heavy, probably due to the high quality material the phone was made out of. It had a smooth feel, but was quite sturdy. The keys weren’t loose. Overall I’d give this phone a 5/5. It definetley surpassed my expectations. I got more then what I paid for. Will definetley recommend this phones to other people.
